Should I buy a motorcycle?

Brittney Inabnit: I have a cruiser with hard lockable saddlebags (panniers.) Helmet, stows in the bag. Jacket, stows in the other bag. Have about four pounds of chain and a big lock in the saddlebag. Motorcycles have no problem on hills, wuss motorcycles are faster than 90% of all cars.

Kristina Brockwell: helmet , bikes have a lock to lock the hemet to . parking . it is wise to lock your bikewhile parking if there is special parking thats better hills . a motorbike should have no problem with a steep hill . happy riding

Marhta Teahan: You should wear a helmet and i think some states have laws that require it but if you dont want to carry it around you can get something that locks it to you bike but i cant think of what its called right now i just know my cousins have one. you dont need to chain a motorcycle cause if you buy a new one it'll most likely have a steering lock like most cars do. if you want that extra safety of chaining your bike go ahead and ! do it, it wont hurt anything and its always better to be safe than sorrya slopped hill shouldnt be a problem just make sure you practice going up hills before you actually try it out on a legit street that way if something does go wrong you wont be totally screwedHope I helped :)...Show more

Glynda Darrin: Riding a motorcycle is a purely personal choice. In general, those that feel a need to ask aren't ready.Helmet: can be locked to the bike with the supplied helmet lock or an aftermarket one. When going out, it can be checked like a jacket (or with).Do you need to wear gear all the time? No, but most recommend it. The majority of all accidents occur close to home. (I got it a block from the house) Parking: If you are lucky enough to find motorcycle parking where you go, use it.Usually, the ignition and steering locks are sufficient. Chains are bulky, heavy, and can chip your paint easily. A disc lock is a much better idea (locks to brake disc, prevents rotation). Terr! ain: Any place a moped can go, most motorcycles can. Any place! a car can go, a motorcycle can.For better answers to your questions, especially the one about if you should, enroll yourself in a Basic Rider's Course....Show more

Brock Hladik: Helmets: Pretty much, unless you decide to not wear one. Anyone under 18 is required to wear a helmet.Gear: Doesn't really matter, what would you be carrying?Parking: Depends on the motorcycle, and the safeness of the neighborhood.Terrain: If a faggio can do it, a motorcycle can do it five times better :)

Mel Crapo: if a sleazy little moped can get up a hill than a motorcycle sure as hell can too. and get a street bike like a kawasaki ninja or something not a stupid harley davidson. they are loud, oobjections and just pure stupid. so if you wanna bike either get a street bike like a ninja or get a ktm dirt bike and register it for the roads
