Joel Feagler: it's a simple mathematical equation.Does the cost of the repairs exceed 50% of the value of the car after the repairs are made?In other words if it costs you $5000 to repair or replace all of these things, once you are done with all the repairs is the car going to be worth twice as much as the $5000 you spent fixing it.
