what is in the non vegan toms shoes that make them non vegan?

Jose Bouliouris: Who said they aren't (that's a real question: who really did say they aren't). And did they provide any evidence? Was Tom's asked to comment? Some glues aren't vegan, but I'm guessing that most of the vegan shoe stores around go out of their way to make synthetic glues. Trena Berum: The vegan shoes are all organic fibers, and don't usually have rubber or plastic! in them because its really hard to get chemicals that don't e! ffect animals or are harmful to the environment. So vegan shoes usually have a natural bottom like hemp or twine, and not rubber or plastic.
