Kip Ockenfels: If the foods contain animal gelatin, then they would not be considered vegetarian. There are plenty of gummy candies and jelly products made from plant gelatin which would be considered vegetarian/vegan.I wanted to add that you can get plenty of "meat"-flavored items that don't actually contain animal products. I have had beef and chicken ramen and chicken rice that all contain simulated flavors instead of animal stock....Show more
Marion Wieboldt: I'm really not sure what your unfortunate condition has to do with PETA's philosophy that it's WRONG FOR HUMANS TO KILL SENTIENT BEINGS FOR THEIR OWN USE.I'd be confused as to what the hell your bad run of luck has to do with anything, too.
Frank Gazaway: Visit a Seventh Day Adventist church or become a member of a vegetarian society. Good luck!
Krystal Cordovano:
Derick Kinnard: I would eat gelatin, but it's not vegan :( And as a vegetarian, neither do you. You're not allowed to eat any! part of the animal, whether it be the flesh, the fat, the bones, or the blood. As for jelly, I don't eat that, but that's only because it's an easy source of refined sugar (not good), and I don't like it all that much, I'd rather use crushed berries. However, all of the ingredients in Welch's Concord grape jelly are vegetarian and, if you consider refined sugar to be vegan, vegan....Show more
Refugio Gastineau: I have the same problem. There is a little vegetarian place to eat and I tried to meet people there but it was really empty. If you figure it out let me know!
Tamatha Neubaum: Yes, I'm vegan and eat jelly beans, gummi bears, jelly etc. that is suitable for vegans. There are a few that are sold in supermarkets. Others you can order online or buy from shops that specifically sell vegan food.
Jerald Florence: How about talking to a doctor or a nutritionist. You may as well asked the window girl at taco bell for advise.

Sammy Kar: G6PD is pretty common. Depends on your families history & yours. If severe, like red blood cell related deaths or near death, you should really eat all natural foods including animals fat sources, leafy greens & avoid beans. If mild than you can be vegetarian with an emphasis on plant fats & leafy greens & eating correct amount, especially cannot under eat with anemic prone disorder....Show more
German Thal: Yeah, I joined the local chapter of EarthSave and attented potlucks, volunteered, and all that jazz. Much easier to do in the city though. In the burbs, no body does anything, no body knows anyone, and it sucks. In the city, everyone's busy or something and they are constantly getting together and doing social stuff, but in the burbs everyone's so spread out with friends miles and miles away... and when I did organize a potluck, the on! ly people who showed-up were from miles and miles away in the city, no locals came. It really sucked. So, if you don't live in the city, yeah, be prepared to either go to the city, or hook-up with some locals on-line. Or try starting your own monthly potluck -- good luck.www.earthsave.bc.cawww.earthsave.org...Show more
Irvin Guiles: (I Am A Vegan In Southern California)
Dexter Gold: PETA sucks, but it isn't a medical advice service! See a dietitian and try to work out a diet that involves minimising your meat intake as much as possible, and investigate less abusive sources of meat.
Filiberto Ranalli: I'm vegetarian, but I really like jelly and gummi bears. Is it okay for me to eat them? I know what they're made of. I don't eat meat and fish, along with stuff like chicken soup or meat-flavored ramen. Thanks for your answers.
Myriam Hetjonk: Try logging on to vegetarian dating and friendship sites, there are many vegetarians who want to meet like-m! inded people.Veggiedate.com is a great site, but there are many others.!

Cherlyn Tefera: GOOGLE and dont belive any1 who says they dont exist because they do I was just at 1 in LA i forget th name but it was really good and had tons of great vegan ideas! Goodluck mate and we might see eachother at the next 1!
Cherlyn Tefera: Have you tried a companion veggie patch?
Heidi Creselious: what is g6pd. you can only eat meat?
Benny Stehno: I would like to be a vegetarian, but I have G6PD. PETA sucks and ignores my questions... Probably cause they know I have no choice but to eat meat. Any suggestions?
Florencio Dingle: Kill yourself
Leann Villalta: Are you serious? Can blogging about wanting vegetarian friends really produce that resu! lt? lol!
Rosella Figliola:
Elden Dedon: I don't know how you can meat them but why would you be so judging of another?I only have 3 vegetarian friends onf all my friends. 1 was vegetarian when I met her and the other jsut decided to make the decision this year. She came to me when she had questions which was nice. And the last one is my first bf, he decided to go veggie while we were dating and I asked him and even after we broke up he stuck with it and still is.My husband also is not vegetarian but he is very flexible he doesn't cook any meat in our house. (So basically only when he goes out to a resturant, which isn't very often for us, and even then he still will choose a vegetarian meal over meat.)If they aren't trying to tell you to eat meat then I don't know why it would bother you because the majority of people eat it, and you might be suprised at how willing and flexible they are....Show more
Babette Deloe: Most veggies drive Citroen Diane cars s! o look out for one of them. I have yet to meet a veggie that has all hi! s marbles so be careful !!! How they keep eating pasta bake and nut roast beats the hell out of me !! More meat for me and my sane friends though.
Marcellus Exler: What does your disease have to do with the ethical philosophy opposing animal commodification/slaughter for human use?Do you really think someone with that paradigm would value the life of one human over thousands of other sentient creatures?
Robin Weelborg: Gelatin is made by boiling the skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones of cows and pigs. I do not eat it.There are vegan gummi candies available at many health food stores that taste exactly the same.
Eldridge Rieves: Go to a vegetarian or vegan meetup.meetup.com
Jacques Teri: The vegetarian food society is a good idea. There's a well-established one in the Dayton, Ohio area. I don't know much about the group, but if you track down it or another one, I'm sure they could give you more information and ideas.
