abortion fees?

Marion Wieboldt: about $1000

Nicolasa Henke: i am a student....really broke so anything cheaper-like a public hospital etc

Mitchel Demry: It generally cost around $250 .You should go to a womens clinic and see the doctors there as they sometimes offer a loan to pay for it and you pay it back through direct debit.

Booker Warlick: I found this for you I hope it helps you,How to find a providerSome of the large public hospitals in Melbourne and some rural hospitals provide abortion services. Private services are listed in the Yellow Pages under ‘abortion’. Your GP, community health service or women’s health service may have information about local providers. How to choose a serviceThere are a number of issues to consider when you choose a service: Cost â€" some public hospitals provide a small number of abortions at no cost. Out-of-pocket expenses vary with private providers and range from around $200 to $400. There is often a discount for students or! health care card holders. It may be possible to have your health fund billed if you have private insurance. Some providers will reduce or waive the fee if a woman is in difficult financial circumstances. The later a pregnancy is after 12 weeks, the more expensive an abortion will be. Privacy â€" some services are known to attract anti-abortion picketers and so may have an alternate entrance to maintain your privacy. Same day service â€" some services may require two visits, although many will just require one visit. Contraceptive services â€" some services may be able to insert Implanon or an IUD (intrauterine device) while you are under anesthetic. Type of anaesthetic â€" these vary from a ‘local’, where you are awake, to a ‘general’ where you are asleep. ‘Twilight’ anesthetic is somewhere in between. Length of pregnancy â€" most providers will perform an abortion up to 12 weeks after the last normal period. Some providers will perform terminations for later p! regnancies. Bryant Pillitteri: Fees vary from clinic to clinic. It's best to call a clinic in your area and ask about the fee. Make sure it's something that you really think about before you go through with it. I had one years back and I'll always regret it and if I could I'd undo it. It's really hard to live with so make sure that it's what you want. I understand though bc I was scared at the time and I thought it was the best thing for me. Don't let anyone influence you one way or the other though. It has to be your choice and something that you'll be able to live with. Wish you the best....Show more
