You should check apprenticeships online (website) and search for local apprenticeships, and if you're lucky a firm near you may be taking them on. That's what I did, and im well on my way.

Melvina Bieri: Keep working and go to an AMT school in your area. After graduation, you will have your A&P and you then can go right to work alongside your friend and get paid for it! You can then keep on top of other opportunities that come along if you wish to go to an airline but GA is the place to be in my opinion. There is too much politics in the airlines and also the fricking unions to deal with.You won't get paid as much in a GA position but you will not have the same ole routine either!...Show more
